Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SocialRouter ("Service"), provided by SocialRouter Inc. ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
SocialRouter provides a unified API for accessing third-party social platform APIs ("Platforms"). The Service is provided on a pay-per-request basis with no subscription requirement. Specific endpoints, supported platforms, and per-request pricing are documented at /docs and /#pricing.
2. Account registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any law or third-party rights; (b) violate the Terms of Service of any Platform; (c) collect or harvest personal information without consent; (d) send spam, harassment, or unsolicited content; (e) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; (f) use the Service to develop a competing product.
4. Payment and credits
The Service is billed per successful API request. Failed requests (4xx, 5xx, or rate-limited responses) are not charged. Credits are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy: unused prepaid credits are refundable for 30 days from purchase.
We may use Stripe or another payment processor to handle transactions. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for credits purchased.
5. Platform compliance
You acknowledge that Platforms have their own Terms of Service. SocialRouter provides infrastructure and tooling but does not legally indemnify your usage. You are responsible for ensuring your application complies with each Platform's rules.
6. Service availability
We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain Service availability but make no uptime guarantees during the public beta period. Production SLAs will be published at /legal/sla when generally available.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or non-payment. Upon termination, you may export your usage data for 30 days, after which it will be deleted.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIALROUTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TBD]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [VENUE TBD].
11. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via email or the changelog. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
